Kafaalo Academy Schools were founded in 2007 in Adaado and renovated and new school at Ganaane in Kismaayo. The schools began with a humble enrolment in one both cities to an enrolment of over 170 students spread over our 2 branches in Adaado and Kismaayo towns in Somalia. Now Kafaalo Academy has 1300 students, among them are 80 orphans with free education. We attribute this growth to our dynamic structure and commitment of the staff that are inspired by the school mission.
Kafaalo Academy is committed to meeting diverse academic needs of students from different regions from Somalia by offering national curricula. Our Kismaayo Campus is hosting 810 studens and it is popular and has been visited both by prime ministers, regional administrations and international communities. Students have so far graduated from Kafaalo Academy Schools. Our graduates have pursued higher education in universities in Somalia and abroad.
After taking over Turkish schools, which are our newest branches in Mogadishu, The Board of Kafaalo decided to rename all its schools Turkish Kafaalo Academy and we will cooperate closely with Turkish Embassy in Somalia.
